I am a Registered Dental Hygienist and Certified Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist who helps children and adults build healthier patterns for nasal breathing, tongue posture, chewing, swallowing, and sleep.
My path into this specialty began with my own family's experience with orofacial dysfunction. That personal journey gave me a deep understanding of how subtle oral habits can affect breathing, sleep, energy, and confidence, and it continues to shape the compassionate care I provide today.
I have pursued advanced education with respected airway and breathing professionals, including hands-on training with Dr. Soroush Zaghi through the Breathe Myo Workshop, with a focus on care before and after tongue-tie release. My training also includes the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, Myo Munchee, and TOTs (tethered oral tissue specialty).
At DC Orofacial Myology, every plan is personalized. I use functional assessment, muscle re-education, and habit retraining while collaborating with orthodontists, airway dentists, pediatric dentists, ENTs, bodywork practitioners, and sleep professionals when appropriate.
